Son of Rambow – Superb British coming of age comedy about a sheltered kid and his rebellious friend making a movie inspired by Rambo. Saturday, BBC2 11.20pm
Inglorious Basterds – Quentin Tarantino’s WWII epic that surely doesn’t need much of an introduction. Sunday, Channel 4 10pm
Dreamgirls (pictured) – Have I ever professed my love for Dreamgirls on here before? Eddie Murphy is shockingly superb, JenniferHudson won an Oscar for her first film role, and Beyonce’s song Listen is simply brilliant. Monday, Film4 6.25pm
Watchmen – Zach Snyder’s take on the classic graphic novel. Wednesday, Film4 10.45pm
Withnail & I – Cult British classic which has spawned many a drinking game. Just don’t drink the lighter fluid. Friday night/Saturday morning, Channel 4 12.45am
